# Global vs Mega Millions Scanner

The clearest difference is rating: Global at 5.0 against Mega Millions Scanner's 4.4. Global also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Mega Millions Scanner's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (774 vs 3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mega Millions Scanner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Global asks for nothing beyond the download.

Global holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mega Millions Scanner has 774 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Global's written reviews are positive against 23% of Mega Millions Scanner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Global ships an update every 5 weeks, Mega Millions Scanner every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
