# Easy Ringtone! vs Voice Recorder

The clearest difference is rating: Voice Recorder at 4.6 against Easy Ringtone!'s 3.9. Voice Recorder also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 134). Easy Ringtone!'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voice Recorder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Easy Ringtone! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Voice Recorder holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voice Recorder has 1.4K ratings behind it against 134, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Easy Ringtone!'s written reviews are positive against 46% of Voice Recorder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Easy Ringtone! ships an update every 6 weeks, Voice Recorder every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
