# All The Words vs My Type!

The clearest difference is price: My Type! at Free against All The Words's $1.99. My Type! also leads on review sentiment (86% vs 60%) and ratings volume (66 vs 1). All The Words's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

My Type! is free to download; All The Words costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

All The Words holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Type! has 66 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of All The Words's written reviews are positive against 86% of My Type!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

All The Words ships an update monthly, My Type! fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
