# HDMI vs CamX

The clearest difference is rating: CamX at 4.4 against HDMI's 2.3. CamX also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 33%) and ratings volume (276 vs 6). HDMI's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CamX sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. HDMI asks for nothing beyond the download.
