# HDMI vs USB Camera to NDI

The clearest difference is rating: USB Camera to NDI at 3.9 against HDMI's 2.3. USB Camera to NDI also leads on ratings volume (102 vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). Both are free to download. USB Camera to NDI sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. HDMI asks for nothing beyond the download.

USB Camera to NDI holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USB Camera to NDI has 102 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of HDMI's written reviews are positive against 25% of USB Camera to NDI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
