# Dolphin Sounds! vs LiveDoodle

The clearest difference is price: LiveDoodle at Free against Dolphin Sounds!'s $0.99. LiveDoodle also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.9). Dolphin Sounds!'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On review sentiment, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

LiveDoodle is free to download; Dolphin Sounds! costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LiveDoodle holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dolphin Sounds! has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Dolphin Sounds!'s written reviews are positive against 50% of LiveDoodle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dolphin Sounds! ships an update every 3 months, LiveDoodle every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
