# ThrashCam vs Mini Camera

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mini Camera at every 4 days against ThrashCam's every 3 weeks. ThrashCam's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ThrashCam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mini Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ThrashCam ships an update every 3 weeks, Mini Camera every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
