# 암기고래 vs 레서

The clearest difference is rating: 암기고래 at 4.7 against 레서's 2.5. 암기고래 also leads on ratings volume (86 vs 2). 레서's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 암기고래 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. 레서 asks for nothing beyond the download.

암기고래 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 암기고래 has 86 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of 암기고래's written reviews are positive against 95% of 레서's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

암기고래 ships an update every 2 weeks, 레서 every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
