# The Pattern vs Teledipity

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Teledipity at 85% against The Pattern's 42%. Teledipity also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). The Pattern's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 144) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Pattern sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Teledipity sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $13.95 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teledipity holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Pattern has 16K ratings behind it against 144, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 42% of The Pattern's written reviews are positive against 85% of Teledipity's.

The Pattern ships an update weekly, Teledipity every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
