# The Pattern vs Intentionality

The clearest difference is ads: The Pattern at none against Intentionality's shown. The Pattern also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and chart position (#31 vs unranked). Intentionality's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Pattern sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Intentionality sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.95 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Pattern ships an update weekly, Intentionality every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
