# The Pattern vs CKR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CKR at 100% against The Pattern's 42%. CKR also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 14). The Pattern's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 8) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Pattern sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. CKR asks for nothing beyond the download.

CKR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Pattern has 16K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 42% of The Pattern's written reviews are positive against 100% of CKR's.

The Pattern ships an update weekly, CKR monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
