# Simulator Drum Kit vs Steel Wheels

The clearest difference is ads: Simulator Drum Kit at none against Steel Wheels's shown. Simulator Drum Kit also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (14% vs 5%). Steel Wheels's advantage is rating (2.7 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (112 vs 4). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Steel Wheels holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Steel Wheels has 112 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Simulator Drum Kit's written reviews are positive against 5% of Steel Wheels's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
