# ESIM vs FYE

The clearest difference is update cadence: FYE at every 2 weeks against ESIM's every 3 months. ESIM's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ESIM ships an update every 3 months, FYE every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
