# Circlify vs Switchy Sides

The clearest difference is rating: Switchy Sides at 4.3 against Circlify's 3.7. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Circlify sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Switchy Sides sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Switchy Sides holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 23 and 61 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Circlify's written reviews are positive against 61% of Switchy Sides's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Circlify ships an update monthly, Switchy Sides every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
