The clearest difference is rating: CHALLENG at 5.0 against Shuggr's 4.3. CHALLENG also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4). Shuggr's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shuggr sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. CHALLENG asks for nothing beyond the download.
