# Nightstand ※ vs Huge Digital Clock

The clearest difference is ads: Nightstand ※ at none against Huge Digital Clock's shown. Nightstand ※ also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (2K vs 79). Huge Digital Clock's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 41%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nightstand ※ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Huge Digital Clock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nightstand ※ holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nightstand ※ has 2K ratings behind it against 79, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Nightstand ※'s written reviews are positive against 56% of Huge Digital Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
