# PhenixID Pocket Pass vs Freja

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PhenixID Pocket Pass at 100% against Freja's 42%. PhenixID Pocket Pass also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.6). Freja's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Freja holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freja has 99 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of PhenixID Pocket Pass's written reviews are positive against 42% of Freja's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PhenixID Pocket Pass ships an update every 3 months, Freja every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
