# Square 'em All vs Block Escape Master

The clearest difference is rating: Block Escape Master at 4.6 against Square 'em All's 4.0. Block Escape Master also leads on ratings volume (698 vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Square 'em All's advantage is review sentiment (20% vs 11%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Square 'em All sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per 3 months and Block Escape Master sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Block Escape Master holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Block Escape Master has 698 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Square 'em All's written reviews are positive against 11% of Block Escape Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Square 'em All ships an update every 2 weeks, Block Escape Master every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
