# NRT2 vs My Prayers

The clearest difference is rating: My Prayers at 4.6 against NRT2's 3.9. My Prayers also leads on ratings volume (322 vs 31) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). NRT2's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

My Prayers holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Prayers has 322 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of NRT2's written reviews are positive against 87% of My Prayers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NRT2 ships an update every 5 months, My Prayers every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
