# NRT2 vs Bifrosha

The clearest difference is rating: Bifrosha at 4.5 against NRT2's 3.9. Bifrosha also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (859 vs 31). NRT2's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and review sentiment (100% vs 71%). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bifrosha sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. NRT2 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bifrosha holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bifrosha has 859 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of NRT2's written reviews are positive against 71% of Bifrosha's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NRT2 ships an update every 5 months, Bifrosha every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
