# Revl Experiences + Camera vs Video Buffer Pre

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Revl Experiences + Camera at none against Video Buffer Pre's 3. Revl Experiences + Camera also leads on ratings volume (2.2K vs 45) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Video Buffer Pre sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Revl Experiences + Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

Revl Experiences + Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Revl Experiences + Camera has 2.2K ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Revl Experiences + Camera's written reviews are positive against 61% of Video Buffer Pre's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
