# Flipd vs Calendar & PrayTimes Widget

Flipd and Calendar & PrayTimes Widget both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Calendar & PrayTimes Widget's written reviews are positive against 49% of Flipd's. Calendar & PrayTimes Widget also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Flipd's advantage is ratings volume (7K vs 10) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flipd sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Calendar & PrayTimes Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Flipd against 4.4 for Calendar & PrayTimes Widget. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flipd has 7K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 49% of Flipd's written reviews are positive against 80% of Calendar & PrayTimes Widget's.

Flipd ships an update every 11 days, Calendar & PrayTimes Widget every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
