# Flipd vs Moment

The clearest difference is rating: Flipd at 4.5 against Moment's 3.7. Flipd also leads on ratings volume (7K vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Moment's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 49%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 11 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flipd sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Moment sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flipd holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flipd has 7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Flipd's written reviews are positive against 88% of Moment's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flipd ships an update every 11 days, Moment every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
