# Flipd vs Hours

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flipd at 49% against Hours's 0%. Flipd also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 8 months). Hours's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flipd sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Hours sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flipd holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0.
