# Flipd vs offtime

The clearest difference is rating: offtime at 5.0 against Flipd's 4.5. Flipd's advantage is ratings volume (7K vs 1) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flipd sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and offtime sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

offtime holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flipd has 7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flipd ships an update every 11 days, offtime every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
