# Flipd vs Fliper

Flipd and Fliper both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Fliper's written reviews are positive against 49% of Flipd's. Flipd's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (7K vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flipd sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Fliper sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Flipd against 4.7 for Fliper. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flipd has 7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 49% of Flipd's written reviews are positive against 100% of Fliper's.

Flipd ships an update every 11 days, Fliper every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
