# RSS News Feed vs Feed Viewer

The clearest difference is rating: Feed Viewer at 3.0 against RSS News Feed's 1.6. RSS News Feed's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (22% vs 0%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Feed Viewer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. RSS News Feed asks for nothing beyond the download.

Feed Viewer holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of RSS News Feed's written reviews are positive against 0% of Feed Viewer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
