# Classix vs Global TV

The clearest difference is rating: Classix at 4.5 against Global TV's 4.0. Classix also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (4K vs 4). Global TV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Classix sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Global TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Classix holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Classix has 4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Classix ships an update every 3 weeks, Global TV every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
