# Cflow vs Motion

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Motion at 42% against Cflow's 0%. Motion also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 8) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Cflow's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Motion sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per month. Cflow asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cflow holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Motion has 1.9K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Cflow's written reviews are positive against 42% of Motion's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cflow ships an update every 3 weeks, Motion weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
