# MemoryPie vs Memorize By Heart

The clearest difference is ads: MemoryPie at none against Memorize By Heart's shown. Memorize By Heart's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 80). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MemoryPie sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Memorize By Heart sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
