# iMemomate vs i

The clearest difference is update cadence: iMemomate at every 2 weeks against i's every 3 months. iMemomate also leads on rating (2.4 vs 2.1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). i's advantage is ratings volume (83 vs 16). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iMemomate holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: i has 83 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of iMemomate's written reviews are positive against 10% of i's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iMemomate ships an update every 2 weeks, i every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
