# ST vs Speed Flow

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Speed Flow at 50% against ST's 0%. Speed Flow also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). ST's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 26 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ST sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Speed Flow sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ST holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speed Flow has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of ST's written reviews are positive against 50% of Speed Flow's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ST ships an update every 3 months, Speed Flow every 26 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
