# Vera Cruz vs e

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Vera Cruz at 100% against e's 15%. Vera Cruz also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). e's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

e holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Vera Cruz's written reviews are positive against 15% of e's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
