# Shekinah App vs Courial

The clearest difference is rating: Shekinah App at 4.8 against Courial's 4.5. Shekinah App also leads on ratings volume (3.7K vs 91) and device support (3 vs 1). Courial's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 4 weeks) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shekinah App holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shekinah App has 3.7K ratings behind it against 91, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 83% and 84% positive.

Shekinah App ships an update every 4 weeks, Courial every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
