# Eternal Fighter vs Pilot 9

The clearest difference is ads: Pilot 9 at none against Eternal Fighter's shown. Pilot 9 also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 26 months) and ratings volume (14 vs 1). Eternal Fighter's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eternal Fighter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pilot 9 sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Eternal Fighter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pilot 9 has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of Eternal Fighter's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pilot 9's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Eternal Fighter ships an update every 26 months, Pilot 9 every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
