# TD Snap® vs Splingo

The clearest difference is rating: TD Snap® at 4.1 against Splingo's 3.5. TD Snap® also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (856 vs 6). Splingo's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TD Snap® sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Splingo sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TD Snap® holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TD Snap® has 856 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of TD Snap®'s written reviews are positive against 35% of Splingo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
