# Metal Detector EMF vs Molnus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Metal Detector EMF at 68% against Molnus's 13%. Molnus's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 9 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Metal Detector EMF sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Molnus sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Metal Detector EMF ships an update every 9 months, Molnus every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
