# When vs Taskbook

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Taskbook at none against When's 2. Taskbook also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). When's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. When sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Taskbook asks for nothing beyond the download.

Taskbook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: When has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
