# A Year With Jesus vs Spellphabet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: A Year With Jesus at none against Spellphabet's 1. Spellphabet's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spellphabet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. A Year With Jesus asks for nothing beyond the download.

A Year With Jesus ships an update every 3 months, Spellphabet every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
