# LookCamPro vs MiniGadgets

The clearest difference is rating: LookCamPro at 2.1 against MiniGadgets's 1.7. LookCamPro also leads on ratings volume (165 vs 19). MiniGadgets's advantage is review sentiment (29% vs 13%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LookCamPro holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LookCamPro has 165 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of LookCamPro's written reviews are positive against 29% of MiniGadgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LookCamPro ships an update every 3 months, MiniGadgets monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
