# LookCamPro vs KinetCam

The clearest difference is rating: KinetCam at 3.0 against LookCamPro's 2.1. LookCamPro's advantage is ratings volume (165 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KinetCam holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LookCamPro has 165 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of LookCamPro's written reviews are positive against 10% of KinetCam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LookCamPro ships an update every 3 months, KinetCam every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
