# Visions vs Startmapp

The clearest difference is rating: Startmapp at 4.8 against Visions's 4.0. Startmapp also leads on ratings volume (468 vs 4). Visions's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (100% vs 78%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Startmapp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Visions asks for nothing beyond the download.

Startmapp holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Startmapp has 468 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Visions's written reviews are positive against 78% of Startmapp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
