# Speed vs Speedometer ٞ

The clearest difference is rating: Speed at 5.0 against Speedometer ٞ's 4.3. Speed also leads on iOS requirement (9.2 vs 13.0). Speedometer ٞ's advantage is ratings volume (779 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Speed holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speedometer ٞ has 779 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
