# IELTS® Test Pro vs IELTS MySpeaking

The clearest difference is rating: IELTS MySpeaking at 5.0 against IELTS® Test Pro's 4.6. IELTS® Test Pro's advantage is ratings volume (439 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IELTS® Test Pro sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and IELTS MySpeaking sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IELTS MySpeaking holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IELTS® Test Pro has 439 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IELTS® Test Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, IELTS MySpeaking every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
