# Mind vs Prezens

The clearest difference is rating: Mind at 4.9 against Prezens's 4.0. Mind also leads on ratings volume (34 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 1). Prezens's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (96% vs 87%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mind sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.49 per month and Prezens sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mind holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mind has 34 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Mind's written reviews are positive against 96% of Prezens's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mind ships an update monthly, Prezens every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
