# Timeline vs Biograph App

The clearest difference is rating: Biograph App at 5.0 against Timeline's 4.5. Biograph App also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 66%). Timeline's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 18) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timeline sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Biograph App sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Biograph App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timeline has 1.2K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 66% of Timeline's written reviews are positive against 100% of Biograph App's.

Timeline ships an update monthly, Biograph App every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
