# Timeline vs Ever Timeline

The clearest difference is rating: Ever Timeline at 5.0 against Timeline's 4.5. Timeline's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timeline sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Ever Timeline sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ever Timeline holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timeline has 1.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Timeline ships an update monthly, Ever Timeline every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
