# Peak Active vs DailySteps

The clearest difference is update cadence: DailySteps at every 3 days against Peak Active's fortnightly. DailySteps also leads on iOS requirement (18.5 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Peak Active sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and DailySteps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Peak Active ships an update fortnightly, DailySteps every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
