# Hmbox vs HS

The clearest difference is update cadence: HS at every 3 weeks against Hmbox's every 2 months. Hmbox's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hmbox ships an update every 2 months, HS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
