# Guitar Lessons Pro vs Gituru

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Guitar Lessons Pro at 94% against Gituru's 48%. Guitar Lessons Pro also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.7). Gituru's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.8) and in-app purchases (none vs 6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Guitar Lessons Pro sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Gituru asks for nothing beyond the download.

Gituru holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gituru has 920 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Guitar Lessons Pro's written reviews are positive against 48% of Gituru's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Guitar Lessons Pro ships an update fortnightly, Gituru monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
